really cool little tool

I found a nice tool for windows 2k/xp, called PowerMenu. It adds some entries to the windowmenu, so you can adjust the priority and transparency instantly.

new hardware

got a new tv-card a few days ago (hauppauge wintv-pvr 250) and so the lego case needed some redesigning. here are the results.

...i got my dsl hardware today. as of the 22nd of this month i will be part of the broadband community. after 2 years waiting :)

kawai!!! today, i got my new powersupply for the mbox. its so tiny and cute... :) you can see it here and here. Now i'm finally able to add more pci cards.

heise.de reported today about some german company who is claiming only few people in germany have blogs. thats the first time i read about a german blog service. :) ok, since i'm writing in english and have my blog managed by blogger.com, i think i'm technically not german. :)

getting illuminated...

wow, third post in one night! *backslap* now this one has nothing to do with illuminating my gameboy. :) i'm currently reading the Illuminatus Trilogy. Both authors worked at Playboy for some time, perhaps thats why there are so much sex-scenes in the book. :) The story is a bit disturbing, because they have mixed up facts and fiction, so that it sounds like a possible scenario. Ah... and drugs are also involved. I haven't read a single chapter where all main characters were not on drugs. Everyone who likes 23 should read these books!

disassembling the gameboy

as some of might have heard, i'm planning to enhance my old gameboy with a cool backlight with the help of el-foil. i've uploaded some pictures of the first stage of this project here. as you can see i removed the silver-foil from the lcd. now you can look through it! playing tetris is still possible, but kinda difficult. the gameboy is now ready for the el-foil. but i haven't decided if i should take the red or the blue one. what would neo do? :)

long time no read. :) i was busy playing tetris and somehow my thumbs got damaged so typing was a pain. some things have changed. as you can see on the right i now have links to my friends' blogs. and finally school's out! you can possibly imagine how great it is to sleep all day and do what you like during the night. *G*
